At our Normanton plant, we're looking for a dynamic Materials Planning and Logistics Manager to lead our MP&L team in balancing capacity, material availability, and inventory management, ensuring exceptional customer service levels. This pivotal role combines strategic planning, organisational leadership, and warehouse operations management to meet and exceed company objectives. - Previous experience in a planning/procurement role within a manufacturing/Automotive T1 facility
- MRP experience
- Experience of statistical reporting, forecasting and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting
- Proven experience of leading and developing a team.
- StroWorking within a production and logistics environment
- Computer Literate - Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
- MRP/SAP experience is essential.
- An understanding of lean manufacturing principles is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and analytical skills
- Well organised and attention to detail
- Ability to be assertive to achieve goals.
- Leadership skills
- Proficient in speaking and writing in English
