Maternity Assistant Band 2

The midwifery assistant will be part of the multidisciplinary team in the clinical setting. The post holder is working under the direct/ indirect supervision of a midwife in providing a high quality service that meets the needs of women and their babies. They will contribute to ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

As part of the team at Kingston Maternity you will be a caring and compassionate individual who is committed to the job, the team and the woman and babies in our care. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication at all levels with an approachable personality. Good interpersonal skills are essential.

Please note the interview with involve a Maths and English test and if successful then candidates will be invited to a MS Teams interview., You need to be able to work well in a team with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload. You should have a proven track record of working without a direct supervision. A good level of Maths and English is required for this role. This role requires the post holder to work days, nights and weekends. Part-time or full-time hours are considered.
