Full Job Description

  • Provide cover to classes to enable the class teacher to have planning,preparation and assessment time
  • Manage all aspects of teaching and learning as set out in the Teachers'Standards document.
  • Be responsible for delivering high quality teaching and learning for the pupils who are assigned to them across a number of classes
  • Be an effective and reflective Teacher, able to demonstrate and share good practice.
  • Communicate with class teachers to plan and prepare lessons with regard to individual need, with reference to school policies, inc. marking and feedback
