Full Job Description
The post holder will be the line manager of our band 2 and band 3 administration and clerical staff, ensuring a high quality and comprehensive administrative service across maternity services. The post holder will be responsible for working across various departments within maternity, providing a senior administrative function for inpatient, intrapartum, outpatient and community teams. To work closely with the teams to ensure effective communication, consistency and standardization of clerical and administration processes across the maternity, clinical business unit.

Take operational responsibility for the band 2 & band 3 administrative team, including responsible for the allocation of their work with the support of the Maternity Administration Co-ordinator. Work with line manager to promote safe working practices, ensuring compliance with roster KPI's, including annual leave management and promoting a positive work-life balance for the team. Develop, manage, and review staff, including completing performance appraisals, 1:1, training compliance and supporting professional development.
