Full Job Description

To work as a member of the ward assisting the Midwifery staff with supporting the care needs of women and their babies. To undertake assigned tasks and appropriate interventions for women and their babies with minimal supervision but under the direction of the midwife.
Be able to work in a flexible manner regarding hospital placements and shift patterns depending on the needs of the service. To provide leadership and support to junior colleagues and ensure high standards are maintained in a safe environment which promotes equitable and compassionate care.

We are looking for a highly motivated MCA band 2 or to work under the supervision of the midwife to assist and support postnatal women and their babies on Mulberry. Essential is completion of MSW workbook to apply.

Although this position is a 11 months fixed-term contract, the actual contract duration will be adjusted to account for the time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre-employment checks. This means the contract will begin when the candidate starts the role and may beslightlyshorter than 11 months."
