Maternity Support Worker Community

The Maternity support worker role is a diverse role incorporating elements of clinical care, clerical skills, and housekeeping duties, working collaboratively with the midwives, multi professional teams, service users and their families to provide excellent care. You will be accountable to the midwife on duty, whilst always maintaining the dignity of patients and relatives, respecting their individual needs and wishes. You will maintain a professional and presentable image. There is an expectation that you will work across our Community Birth Centres located in the City, Paulsgrove Family Hub, Blake Birth Centre Gosport and Fareham community hospital support the Community Midwifery teams , assisting with the running of Consultant Clinics, Phlebotomy Clinics.
