In addition to our hospital based maternity services, we are lucky to have standalone birth centres, co-located units and home birth options for our community., The Maternity support worker role is a diverse role incorporating elements of clinical care, clerical skills, and housekeeping duties, working collaboratively with the midwives, multi professional teams, service users and their families to provide excellent care. You will be accountable to the midwife on duty, whilst always maintaining the dignity of patients and relatives, respecting their individual needs and wishes, whilst always maintaining a professional and presentable image. There is an expectation that you will work on a Monday to Friday basis with the occasional weekend when required within our busy Maternity Outpatient Department. You will be assisting with the running of all Maternity Outpatient Clinics, Consultant Clinics, Phlebotomy Clinics, whilstto supporting pregnant people throughout their pregnancy journey.
