Full Job Description

A rare opportunity has arisen at Westminster Under School for an outstanding and experienced Maths Extension Coach to join our team.

This role offers the unique chance to work with a handful of our best mathematicians from Years 5 to 8 during our Maths Clinic, held on Fridays from 13:20 to 13:50, using resources from the UKMT Mentoring Scheme (Hypatia - Ramanujan).

The successful candidate will also prepare these pupils for the Junior Mathematical Olympiad and Cayley Olympiad, and give them exposure to Senior Mathematical Challenge, British Mathematical Olympiad and American Mathematics Competition questions, where appropriate.

Strong subject knowledge is essential for this role, though the successful candidate may be new to teaching. What we value most is a passion for Mathematics and a caring, encouraging approach that will help our pupils excel.
