Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Maths Learning Mentor to work primarily with the Maths department throughout our Secondary Academy, to support the social, emotional and mental health well-being of our pupils. Your role will include one to one and small group mentoring and support to improve academic progress and learning, including delivering a range of teaching and learning interventions to targeted pupils., You can be assured that you will be joining a successful Multi Academy Trust that has a great track record in helping children to succeed no matter what their background. The Trust is dedicated to valuing and developing the workforce whether that be through ensuring a fair workload or offering access to bespoke CPD from the Learning Alliance to enhance professional growth.

Have experience of working with children & families in overcoming barriers to learning.
Work closely with staff and outside agencies to ensure children at Nottingham Academy have excellent provision.
Promote self-esteem, confidence and help children to become emotionally healthy.
Have high expectations of themselves, striving for the best in everything they do.
Be an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious team player; open to learning and professional development.
