St James is a dynamic school, encompassing 32 acres, leading the way in the education of the whole person with a strong philosophically-based ethos, valuing stillness and meditation balanced with a strong academic focus. We have recently opened our new Sports Hall which includes a gym suite that all our staff have access to. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our innovative and successful STEM departments to support the teaching of a wide range of Economics and Maths subjects.
Maths and Economics are central to our academic focus and development within the school, tying in all the STEM subjects. We seek an inspirational teacher who would be expected to teach Maths at Key Stages 3 to 5 and Sixth Form Economics. The role would be suitable for any enthusiastic teacher who has a deep respect of their subject and values academic endeavour.
Extra-curricular activities are important at St James and a willingness to contribute within either the Maths or Economics departments or beyond is essential to the post.
