Full Job Description
- Plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred Maths lessons that support progression and exam readiness.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all learners, adhering to safeguarding protocols.
- Track student attendance and academic progress through digital management systems.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to learners, using a variety of assessment methods.
- Prepare students for functional skills and GCSE exams, as well as other core Maths qualifications.
- Work collaboratively with other subject areas to embed Maths skills into vocational and practical learning settings.
This permanent, full-time role is a fantastic opportunity for a Maths tutor with a passion for delivering high-quality education to diverse learners in a supportive, creative environment., Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths (E3-L2), GCSE Maths, or Level 3 Core Principles Mathematics. - Proven ability to engage and inspire students, using diverse teaching strategies tailored to FE learners.
- Strong organisational skills, with a commitment to meeting educational targets and standards.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C / 4 or above) or equivalent; a degree in Mathematics or a related subject is essential.
- A Level 5 teaching qualification is preferred, though significant relevant experience will be considered., tutoring, teaching, pgce, maths
Competitive salary of £30,000 - £44,000 per annum depending on experience. - 35 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays.
