Are you an enthusiastic, dynamic, and innovative senior nurse looking for the next challenge in your nursing career? Are you interested in developing your role in Emergency Care and attracted to joining a progressive team who have a vision of developing new pathways across the 'Emergency Floor'? Do you have the drive and determination to ensure that the Emergency Care team strive to consistently deliver outstanding care and exemplary experiences to their patients? Are you knowledgeable in Emergency Care and have the experience and skills needed to provide professional clinical guidance and support the team through visible leadership, to deliver safe, high quality and cost-effective care, whilst also maintaining compliance with emergency care standards? Could you be the ideal candidate to be our new Emergency Department Matron? If so, we would like to hear from you.,

  • Provide senior clinical leadership.
  • Identify new ways of working and influence others, whilst considering various perspectives.
  • Able to respect the feelings of others and can be responsive to both individuals and organisational needs.
  • Provide specialist clinical knowledge and expertise in their related field.
  • Provide a positive visible role model; influencing best practice from the clinical base.
  • Work closely and supportively with the Department/ Service Managers in the allocated area, to develop and improve nursing practice.
