We are recruitment looking for a dynamic Matron to lead our Medicine units at the Princess Grace Hospital currently rated "Good" by the CQC.
As a Medicine Matron you be an integral member of the senior nursing team. You will be an exemplary role model with the ability to support teams in the delivery of outstanding clinical care and a culture of continuous improvement supporting the growth and quality care across the Medicine unit, AAU, ITU and UCC.
We are seeking applicants that are highly professional clinical leaders or existing Matrons, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and unequivocal commitment to improving patient, carer and staff experience. You will ideally have experience in areas such as ITU or HDU; A&E, urgent care or acute medicine.
If successful in the role of Matron, you will have 24-hour accountability for the management and oversight of all patients within the facility, promoting excellence as standard. The role is key in promoting a nurturing environment for patients, relatives, visitors and staff through monitoring, measuring, actioning and evaluating service delivery, advocating for patients at all times.
