In conjunction with the Clinical Director and Business Manager, provide triumvirate leadership to the Mexborough Orthopaedic Centre To provide senior nurse leadership to the Mexborough Elective Orthopaedic Centre

Are you a senior nurse who wishes to be part of a team that delivers outstanding care?

The Mexborough Orthopaedic Elective Centre of excellence (MEOC) at Montagu Hospital, is recruiting a Matron to join the leadership team. MEOC is a collaboration between Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH), Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (BH) and The Rotherham Hospital Foundation Trust (TRFT), to provide a dedicated orthopaedic hub for the people of South Yorkshire. MEOC is a £14.9 million project, completed in December 2023, with the first patients admitted for surgery on 15 January 2024. Patients on orthopaedic waiting lists at all of the three hospital trusts can have their surgery at the MEOC. The procedures available at the MEOC include hip and knee replacement alongside foot, ankle, hand, wrist, and shoulder surgery., DBTH is one of Yorkshire's Leading acute trusts, serving a population of more than 440,000.
