You will set up Maximo software to align with the specific needs and workflows to enhance its capabilities. As well as tailor Maximo to suit the unique requirements of different departments or teams to configuring asset management templates, setting up user access controls, defining maintenance schedules, and implementing specific data recording fields.

In this key role, you will also develop in Maximo to create new applications, interfaces, or extensions to address specific business requirements or to enhance overall capability. This may involve programming in Java or JavaScript, designing user interfaces, and integrating with external APIs or databases to extend the capabilities beyond its out-of-the-box features.

As part of this you will:

- Collaborate closely with the Technical Product Owner to ensure that the product meets customer and stakeholder needs.
- Contribute to the development and subsequent refinement of user story mechanisms for a unified approach to development.
- Stay current with platform enhancements and advancements.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team and customers.
- Adhere to development best practice and architectural strategy.

3 - 5 years experience within and knowledge of Asset and Engineering Management and the Maximo Application Suite.
- Domain knowledge - demonstrable experience configuring and maintaining Maximo Application Suite (v8) in a complex engineering asset environment, including developing Maximo scripts in Java, Python or Jython.
- Comfortable with the Maximo Application Suite technical stack, including appropriate knowledge of IBM Openshift and MS-SQL deployed within an Azure hosting environment.
- Excellent communication skills with experience working in successful cross functional teams.
- IBM Certified Administrator
- Maximo Manage v8.x
- IBM Certified Deployment Professional
- Maximo Manage v8.x
- Experience in MAS Monitor & Predict (desirable)
- Experience in MAS Manage, Schedule and Mobile (essential)
- Experience in managing an IBM Partner who will be delivering the core MAS and OpenShift configuration and support.
- Experience in Government and Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts and bids, coupled with my in-depth knowledge of MOD-specific standards such as Joint Service Publications (JSPs) and the Defence Cyber Protection Partnership (DCPP) - desirable., Disability Confident
