Full Job Description
The HPB/Upper GI MDT Coordinator role is an exciting opportunity to join our administration team which provides first class administration and reception services to the Division. As part of our team, you will be responsible for chasing external imaging to be uploaded on to UCLH PACS for review, receiving referrals for inclusion in MDT meetings, and preparing the MDT documentation. You will also be responsible for ensuring pathology material transferred to UCLH is received and available for MDT review. In addition, this role will support by completing typed MDT proformas during the MDT meeting. You may be required to liaise with coordinators at other sites (e.g. Surgical team at RFH) to ensure that MDT decisions are enacted (e.g. Scan transfer, or outpatient review).
Successful candidates will have previous administration experience and knowledge of waiting times targets and may have NHS experience with a desire to continue working in a healthcare setting. They will be able to communicate with a range of patients and colleagues and possess excellent team working, negotiation and organisation skills.
