Full Job Description

Based in the Outpatients and Discharge Lounge Clinics, you will provide a warm welcome and support to patients and visitors attending appointments at our Weston General Hospital site.

  • Providing a friendly welcome to patients and visitors to the clinic.
  • Updating patients with waiting times.
  • Signposting to other support and services, as required.
  • Restocking of resources i.e. cups / leaflets / activity packs and preparing information packs, where applicable.
  • Keeping patients company if they are on their own, engaging in conversation and utilising resources where available.
  • Providing light refreshments (where agreed with Trust Division).
