Full Job Description

  • Assisting the Sales & Tendering Departments for new and varied pump and package designs
  • Provide advice and support to the Design Engineers to determine requirements for rotor dynamic design calculations and structural FEA (Finite Element Analysis) investigations
  • Pressure boundary FEA (Finite Element Analysis) analysis
  • Design reports in relation to all Mechanical Integrity and Design Validation assessments
  • Support to the Service Division, where mechanical analysis and/or assessments are required (e.g. pump retrofits and upgrades)

  • Relevant experience within related industry including knowledge of industry practices & standards
  • Relevant experience within related industry ideally Oil and Gas
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of rotor dynamics (lateral and torsional)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and Analytical skills
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
