Mechanical Assembler
A new mechanical assembler opportunity has opened up at a well known Defence company who are based in the heart of Portsmouth. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling complex defence components with precision and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics to understand assembly requirements
- Assemble complex defence components using hand and power tools
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, particularly in the defence industry
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Collaborating with team members to complete complex assembly tasks
