Full Job Description

  • Design mechanical systems for spacecraft, including structure, thermal, and mechanisms, including troubleshoot design issue.

  • Conducting mechanical requirements review, ensuring compliance with ECSS standards.

  • Acting as the technical interface with other internal technical areas and external suppliers.

  • Support the fabrication, assembly, and testing of prototypes.

  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate design and test results to the team

  • Perform component dimensioning through hand calculations using a static equivalent loads approach.

  • Draft manufacturing documentation and assemblies procedures.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design.

  • Proven experience in managing and aerospace projects, demonstrating familiarity with ECSS standards and requirements.

  • Background in FEM modeling and analysis.

  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques used in the aerospace industry.

  • Proficiency in CAD software, background in CAD PTC Creo software is a plus..
