Mechanical / Electrical Engineer / Inspector

The Role of the Mechanical Inspector will report to the Quality Manager and support the site Quality team.

• Production of inspection reports (non conformances, damage reporting etc) and associated project specific documents.
• Identification & escelation (if required) of quality issues.
• Inspection hold point witnessing (Torque sheets, Checksheets etc).
• Be an active stakeholder in the process of Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plan's (ITP).
• Completion and sign off of Project ITP's.
• Review of Material and consumable certification.
• Major Stakeholder in the creation of Long Term Quality Record packs.
  
  CSCS or equivalent.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Time served in a relevant discipline.
• Internal Auditing (IRCA).
Experience:
• Clear understanding of Engineering Standards.
• Ability to understand construction drawings.
• Clear understanding of Goods Inwards procedures.
• Strong mechanical inspection experience.
• Experience of Government contracts.
• Candidates should be a Sole UK National and able to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
• Understanding of ITAR.
