Full Job Description

Static Multi Skilled Service engineer for completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual service and PPM's.,

  • Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Completion of PPM and Reactive Tasks and update the electronic workflow system.
  • Ensure that daily checks are completed and repair, report any defects found via the FM helpdesk.
  • Identification of materials required to be ordered & installed in a timely manner.
  • Comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording within their specified logbooks.
  • Ensure that Specialist Service Provider worksheets are reviewed & signed off, the quality of work is inspected, and recommendations are escalated to the Supervisor.
  • The Site team will ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing / rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping
  • The Engineer will be expected to work, and trouble shoot all building systems but not be limited to the following :
  • Building Management Systems & Electrical Monitoring.
  • HVAC Systems, Including Humidifiers.
  • Air Handling, Air Conditioning & Chillers.
  • Sound knowledge of VAV & FCU Systems.
  • Domestic Water Services & Plumbing.
  • Pumps, Motors & Variable Speed Drive.
  • Gas Boilers.
  • Hot Water Calorifiers.

    Electrical / Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2 / FGAS and HVAC experience
  • L8 knowledge
  • PPM experience
  • Corrigo knowledge (a Bonus)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Have good IT and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.

    Overtime x1.5 on weekday and x2 on weekends + day in lieu on bank holidays
