Full Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is a progressive opportunity to work within a supportive team environment, where you will utilise your skills and enthusiasm to develop, integrate and test mission critical systems, at the cutting edge of their domain. Day-to-day, you'll be deployed direct to role and will use your on-the-job experiences and training to make a real difference for our customers.
- Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
- Provide a technical interface with internal and external stakeholders at a detailed level.
- Carry out technical investigations and analysis to provide data for problem assessment/resolution and for design of improvements.
- Produce, review, verify outputs including calculations, analyses, technical reports, technical specifications and method statements.
- Make engineering decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority. This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with working days onsite and working days working from home.
- Experienced in Computer Aided Design.
- A good communicator who enjoys collaboration with others.
- Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types. Qualifications for the Mechanical Engineer
- Mechanical Engineering Degree, or HND or HNC in Mechanical Engineering Discipline with demonstrable experience and capability of working in an engineering role. Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
