Full Job Description

On the Job training with your mentor, learning how to:

  • Assist in the service and repair of various types of pumps
  • Service off-hired equipment ready for re-hire
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety Procedures
  • Assist with loading and unloading of equipment onto external transport trucks

    4 Grades C/4 or above in GCSE including English & Maths & Science
  • A keen interest in engineering industry

    SLD Pumps & Power (Carrier's company) which is one of the UK's leading suppliers of pumps and generator rental equipment is hiring Mechanical Engineer - Apprentice in our depot in Plymouth. The main goal of the role is to learn how to diagnose and repair our hire equipment with the aim of being able to support our team in the depot or on customers' sites.

    Much higher salary than the minimum wage for Apprentices ( Year 1, £16,000 per annum )
