Our Defence and Security team provide design and engineering services for our nuclear and defence clients across the UK and abroad. Our team is experiencing exciting growth and long-term prospects within our established practice, and we are looking for electrical engineers with transferable skills who are passionate about developing themselves and in meeting new challenges. We offer hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office. Occasional site visits may be necessary.,

• Assist the Engineering Manager / Responsible Engineer in managing cross discipline interfaces.
• Ensuring adequate interfacing between other technical discipline.
• Ensure the design meets the operational / design requirements, and any Safety Functional Requirements.
• Ensure a H&S risk assessment is carried out as required under the CDM regulations.
• Hazard and operability studies (HAZOP).
• Specify all installation, inspection, test and commissioning requirements for all relevant equipment specified in the design.
• Produce substantiation documentation to demonstrate all operational and functional safety requirements have been met by the design.Carry out site surveys of mechanical plant and equipment and document the results
