Mechanical Engineer OMST

We are now recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer OMST to be based at our Head Office. The Mechanical Engineer OMST will complete assigned projects and tasks to provide professional mechanical engineering support to px sites across the UK and Europe, supporting and delivering asset integrity, reliability, statutory compliance and improvement. The Mechanical Engineer OMST may also complete site based secondment from time to time based upon business requirements, so having the ability and a willingness to travel is crucial in this role. We consider this a crucial role as you will be providing appropriate guidance and support to px personnel and customers on mechanical engineering matters including shutdowns, unplanned/planned events, incidents, projects, modifications and improvement activities. You'll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence. Minimum Requirements:

• HNC in a mechanical engineering discipline (or equivalent)
• UK Drivers Licence
• Demonstratable successful mechanical engineering contributions in a 24/7 industrial environment including:
+ Maintenance or fault finding + Contract management + Outage planning/management + Contractor management + Engineering & Operational interface + Developing, implementing and evaluating improvements and mods. + Management of Change applications. + Managing budgets and projects.
• Knowledge of SHEQ Systems, CMMS, Full Project Lifecycle, PSSR, Control valve and actuator types.
• Ability to read and interpret design specifications and technical drawings.
