Mechanical Fitter

In the Jig & Tool role you will have to opportunity to join a highly skilled and dynamic team and contribute to maintaining a world class facility. You will provide first line maintenance support to the BIW manufacturing team ensuring repair work and routine maintenance that minimises downtime, always putting safety first.,

• Carry out and improve where possible planned maintenance by ensuring that the work schedules are completed on time
• Be able to read engineering drawings and manufacture parts using toolroom machinery (lathe, miller, drillers, grinders, welders etc)
• Ensure Health & Safety documentation and equipment (PPE) is adhered to
  
  Knowledge of Maintenance Operations
• Knowledge of BIW Jigs & Fixtures
• Higher Apprenticeship or equivalent in maintenance/machining
• Knowledge of toolroom machinery
