Join today and build progress with us. The Opportunity: This is an exciting time to join one of our largest Block Plants, at Callow near Cheddar, Somerset. As we are investing in the site through large projects and an expansion of our Engineering team. Through this expansion we now have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our existing team onsite. Onsite you'll cover a Monday-Friday morning & afternoon rotating shift: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 08:00-16:00. Where, you'll have a true variation of work from; Projects to Preventive & Reactive works. With the support of the wider engineering team onsite you'll
seek to improve the engineering capabilities onsite through an improved stores systems to reduce downtime and FMEA on equipment to help improve our predictive maintenance success. You'll have options to develop your career and skills through external training and internal support from the Electrical Engineer, helping you to develop into a Multi-Skilled Engineer.
You'll be a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Fitter, with experience working within industrial environments. - You'll already be certified to a Level 2 or higher mechanical qualification. - You'll have experience working with Hydraulic equipment.
