Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit and develop career minded people to bolster our well-established and growing multi-discipline engineering delivery capability to meet opportunities in the defence industry. Our projects include developing solutions in complex and exciting environments, in support of the UK nuclear submarine fleet; the air, land and sea defence establishments; and both existing and new build manufacturing facilities. As the demand for our services continues to grow, you will provide mechanical support to key client projects. Being part of a several hundred strong team across the UK, however you will work within the smaller and growing Mechanical Engineering team based in Glasgow, Bristol and Reading. .

You will preferably have experience of working in defence or a similar industry, but also those with relevant mechanical HVAC/Services design experience looking to work in a technically challenging environment are encouraged to apply.

  • Fluent in Revit, Autocad and Navis Works.
  • Ability to produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment.
  • Production of 2D drawings (layouts, arrangements, sections, elevations etc.) from the 3D model.
  • Capability across Mechanical disciplines including Building Services.
  • Familiar with BIM, use of Common Data Environment (CDE) and QA systems.
  • Familiar with working in a secure environment, Relevant qualification minimum, HND or equivalent.
  • Revit experience all levels, support can be given to develop further
  • All staff are required to be sole UK Nationals and able and willing to obtain SC level security clearance, and therefore must have been resident in the UK for the preceding 5 years.
  • Willing to occasionally travel to sites
