Full Job Description

To oversee and lead the onsite Multi-Skilled Mechanical team in delivering all associated Planned & Reactive maintenance. You'll:

  • Ensure effective deployment of the Multi-Skilled Mechanical Team in actioning mechanical related Planned & Reactive Maintenance & project works.
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
  • Carry out survey works and prepare quotations as required by the client.
  • Identify staff training needs and report to immediate manager for authorisation.
  • Carry out quality checks of all works being carried out to ensure compliance with agreed standards
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance, statutory compliance tasks and reactive works investigations/repairs on, but not limited to, the gas fired systems on site
  • Service, test, diagnose and repair process control systems and automatic control devices related to the building services plant and equipment
  • Carry out tasks associated with L8 compliance for the prevention and control of legionella risks

    NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent (including recognised apprenticeship) with either an electrical or mechanical or building services bias
  • Gas Safe qualified
  • Working knowledge of other building services and trades
  • Excellent team working and problem-solving capabilities
  • Must be able to fully satisfy the Client security clearance minimum requirements (SC)
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
