Full Job Description
This data-driven media agency based in Bath are looking for a Media Strategist. They prioritise effectiveness and sustainability in delivering successful campaigns for their clients. They challenge traditional marketing approaches and focus on finding the best solutions tailored to each brand's needs. Their team is committed to reducing carbon footprint and maximising ROI by utilising technology and providing transparent reporting. As a Media Strategist, you will be responsible for leading and supporting on a roster of media clients, be instrumental in cultivating loyal and trusted business relationships, working with the key client stakeholders and the wider media team to ensure they meet their objectives and present innovative and effective strategies, to produce compelling results to grow their business. This Media Strategist will: - Ensure that all figures are accurate and kept up to date. - Be fully aware and comply with Edit IS0 27001 requirements and procedures. - Be familiar and up to date with latest GDPR and data compliance regulations. - Support on larger accounts, working with the media account directors. - Plan and buy offline media campaigns (press, inserts, door drop, etc) as per clients' strategies. - Prepare for and attend regular client meetings producing client presentations including campaign results, performance forecasting, manipulation, interpretation, and presentation of results with rationales and recommendations for future planning. - Develop strong media owner/supplier relationships.
Around 1-2 years' experience of planning and buying offline media (press, inserts, door drop, etc). - Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally with people at all levels. - Confident and engaging presentation skills. - Excellent MS office skills. - Meticulous attention to detail. - A proven ability in using insight (both consumer and numerate) to produce and substantiate media plans. - Exceptional time management skills: ability to prioritise workload for yourself, anticipate blockers and make contingencies. - Consistent high standards of honesty, integrity, professionalism, and fairness. - Experience in systems such as AdIntel, MediaTel, TGI, etc. - Demonstrate an up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the media marketplace.,
