Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Pendleton Sixth Form College, Pendleton Centre for a position as a Media Technician. The main focus for this role is to support teachers and students to produce high quality practical Film and Media and Journalistic work. You will be working within the Mac Suite as well as classrooms, to run technical support workshops, train students and trouble shoot during student production sessions. The successful candidate will be proficient with using Macs, as well as Wix (website builder) and Canva (in-browser graphic design software). Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Premier Pro is desirable. Previous experience of, graphic design, video editing and photography is essential. In addition, the role will comprise of; stock taking and ordering equipment, maintaining media production kit, coordinating equipment bookings, overseeing and producing content for the department's social media platforms, promotional videos and podcasts.
