The Neurology medical advisor provides proactive strategic leadership co-creating the overall brand strategy to ensure appropriate use of Sanofi medicines in the UK and Ireland.   • Utilise strong business acumen, and acting as a key strategic business partner to the organisation
  • Initiate and drive projects to raise standards of care
  • Lead and drive rapid integrated evidence planning and execution through deep understanding of internal and external stakeholder evidence needs and robust data gaps analysis
  • Deep therapy area expertise and product knowledge including competitor data
  • Drive strong collaborative relationships with commercial and non-commercial functions including marketing, value & access, health economics, regulatory and clinical teams
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with top clinicians
  • Drive collaborative relationships with above-country colleagues to ensure UK involvement and strategic input into global and regional plans
  • General understanding of impact of evolution of healthcare systems through ICS transformation
  • Lead creation of implementation science plans
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate new data and integrate into new therapy areas

    Proactive enterprise leadership acting as a role model for medical affairs
  • Qualifications; Healthcare professional (including medical, pharmacy or nursing) or BSc/Phd in biological/medical science
  • Industry experience (including medical affairs field or office) and/or clinical experience mandatory
  • Strategic knowledge of the ABPI code beyond copy approval mandatory. Final signatory desirable
  • Working knowledge of UK Healthcare System's and external stakeholder management
  • Good understanding of the continuum of data generation including clinical development, RWE and data gaps analysis
  • Thorough understanding of drug approval process and reimbursement (MHRA, NICE, SMC etc.)
  • Ability to act independently with a solutions-oriented and balanced approach to the grey areas
  • Excellent communication skills including driving challenging discussions
