Full Job Description

To provide all aspects of administrative support in the delivery of a full and comprehensive Undergraduate (UG) Medical Education agenda across TEWV, ensuring high quality planning and production systems for timetabling and teaching across UG programmes.

To provide support and liaison to various staff and service users for the purpose of involvement with the education and training of medical students.

You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to establish strong working relationships with colleagues within the department, across the wider Trust and external stakeholders. You will lead on the development of individualised timetables for each student and all aspects of the administration of the medical student programme. This will involve working alongside the Nurse Lead and senior faculty members to plan and implement high quality educational programmes. The post will also involve quality checking, managing multiple information streams and service improvement and development.

The successful applicant will be required to have excellent IT skills, a working knowledge/understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced excel and the use of databases, together with NVQ3 or equivalent qualifications (or a willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale).

Applicants should be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work. The ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise work and deal with complex issues, are all essential criteria for the post., Are you a highly motivated individual who enjoys a challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Education Advisor, primarily based at Roseberry Park Hospital in Middlesbrough. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. The successful applicants will be able to use your proven administrative and organizational skills to support the work of the Medical Education Team in providing a high quality clinical placement to medical students during their Mental Health rotation.
