Full Job Description
The Medical Education Coordinator will report to the Medical Workforce Manager and beprofessionally accountable to the Director of Medical Education. The role encompasses administrative and coordinating responsibility, supporting the Medical Education team in the delivery and evaluation of professional teaching activity, training programmes, The medical education coordinator also plays an active role in the development of the medical education programme. The post also involves line management of the Medical Education Administrator and supervision/undertaking of the administrative responsibilities associated with the quality assurance and financial management of educational,
- Responsibility for the support of medical education services across the organisation; this includes the provision of a comprehensive service, responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of professional teaching activities, training programmes, continuing professional development, induction and skills training for junior doctors
- Line management and supervision of the Medical Education Administrator
- Organise and oversee the Medical Education Administrator in the setting up of meetings, training venues, workshops, road shows, lectures, seminars and events, booking rooms and refreshments, ensuring all resources required are available and appropriate information supplied including financial reimbursement.
