Full Job Description

The Project Coordinator will provide programme/project management support and administration to the Head of Medical Education relating to any Projects progressed within the Medical Education Directorate. They will manage the day to day operational tasks of the various projects in conjunction with Educational Leads responsible for each project including updating project plans and highlight reports and support to communication and engagement as required.
The post holder will:
· Coordinate the Medical Education projects.
· Support the Head of Medical Education and the Education Leads on specific projects - currently help required for setting up onboarding for Locally employed doctors, supporting the development of the Enhance programme (which UHCW is a trailblazer for) and establishing systems to support doctors with their ongoing training and development.
· Assist in the maintenance and development of the Quality monitoring systems for the Medical Education Directorate.

Support the Head of Medical Education (and the specific project Leads) to ensure that that tasks/projects are planned, managed, and delivered effectively.
2. Provide high quality project, service, initiative, and administrative support including information and analysis.
3. The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.
4. Co-ordinate the activity of the project teams set up for each project and identify and report any concerns to the project lead and Head of Medical Education using appropriate Project documentation.
5. Responsible for the management of elements of a project, supports, facilitates, and monitors progress of project within or across sites and supports performance improvement.
6. Maintain the Project Library in line with sound project management procedures to support ease of access in the tracing of key decisions and audit trails., Support the preparation of Risk assessments including resolving failures to meet project standards.
Prepare Project plans and progress actions with the project team members and produce progress reports using the most appropriate tool.
Prepare and maintain Project documentation as required of the Project.
To provide project management support and expertise to those involved.
Communicate sensitive information about performance and change.
Have awareness of all Projects within the remit of the Medical Education Directorate and the dependency between to report on conflicts should they occur.
Financial and Physical Resources
Support and inform the requirement and targeting of resources, monitoring, implementing, and evaluating projects and delivery of financial benefits and providing high quality information and analysis.
Contribute to the financial delivery of the agreed portfolio ensuring it is delivered on time.
Communication
Persuades staff of the importance of the project, negotiates with, and motivates sites on project delivery.
Communicate information and issues, including briefings and reports, to the Project Leads and the Head of Medical Education as appropriate.
