Full Job Description

You will provide support to the Director of Medical Education, Medical and Dental Education Manager and the Medical Education Administration Teams, To provide Leadership and Line Manage the Medical Education Administration Teams, and to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the medical education service on a day-to-day basis across the Trust.

Service Delivery

· Provide support to the administration staff in medical education

· Use of staff and resources through effective management and to ensure efficient and effective high quality service provision on a day-to-day basis.

· Manage effective two-way communication between the Medical and Dental Education Manager and administration teams.

· Responsible for ensuring that the administration staff are trained effectively, and on-going training needs identified, including mandatory training for the updates being completed.

· To help identify development opportunities for the team's personnel development.

· Oversee the rosters and escalate issues of concern affecting service delivery to the Medical and Dental Education Manager.

· Support the Medical and Dental Education Manager in the overall day-to-day operational management of the department.

· Work as part of the overall management team to provide an efficient and effective service. Deputies for Medical and Dental Education Manager when required.

· Maintain accurate training records, contribute to team meetings and liaise with other departments within the Trust and NHS England.

· Continue to expand the experience and knowledge of the administration staff highlighting any performance concerns to the Medical and Dental Education Manager and manage these concerns through the appropriate application of policy.
