Full Job Description

To assist in the provision of a comprehensive and timely Human Resource service to the Directorates within the Trust, based on current best practice and in accordance with Local/National Terms and Conditions of Service and current legislation. This will include taking responsibility for and supporting the management team in a wide range of regular reporting to various stakeholders at all levels. It will also present an exciting opportunity to help streamline and digitise the Medical HR Function.
Opportunities to oversee and run with adhoc projects, developing share point usage within the team whilst also supporting General Advisor duties is part of the role.
This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of a maximum of twelve months due to maternity leave of the substantive post holder. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts and statutory maternity provisions.

We currently have an exciting opportunity within the Medical HR Department for an enthusiastic, well-organised individual who wishes to develop their skills in the provision of a comprehensive HR service. This is a recently developed role where the successful individual will have the chance to get involved in streamlining and shaping our service delivery helping to maximise digital opportunities.
This is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave and will be based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. It will support the team in delivering a Medical HR Workforce function to both internal and external stakeholders. This fixed term post is ideal for a suitably qualified self-motivated individual to experience and develop the workforce element in Human Resources.
The post holder will have the opportunity to expand experience in this specialised and developing area of HR work in a supportive environment. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a full understanding of all MS Office packages including Excel, Access, MS Teams related applications and a willingness to learn. A high level of commitment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills would be necessary as the post involves liaison with medical staff at all levels in addition to external agencies. A diplomatic and tactful approach is essential.
