Our laboratories operate across three sites: Central London (Chelsea), Cavendish Square, and Sutton in Surrey. We now have a 1-year fixed-term vacancy for an enthusiastic and capable Medical Laboratory Assistant at our Sutton site.

The Blood Sciences department processes approximately 350,000 samples annually, striving to deliver the best possible service to our users. In this role, you will support Biomedical Scientists by receiving and managing samples to ensure they are processed efficiently and meet required turnaround times.

The Trust is committed to fostering both professional and personal development, with full training provided. As our Blood Sciences laboratories are accredited by UKAS under ISO15189, your role will be crucial in maintaining our high-quality care standards.

If you are eager to enhance your organisational skills and play a key role in keeping our laboratory running smoothly, we would love to hear from you!, The post-holder will perform basic tasks to support the Biomedical Scientists within the Blood Sciences laboratories in accordance with Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs). The post holder will organise and receive samples ensuring they are processed in a timely manner, including samples analysed on site and referred to other laboratories
