Full Job Description

This post supports the 24/7 Blood Science service and as such the successful candidate will be expected to take part in a 24hr shift rota covering weekends and Bank Holidays., The Biochemistry laboratory is CPA accredited and processes in excess of 1,000,000 samples per year. It is well equipped, providing a wide range of routine and specialist diagnostic services with Advia 2400 routine biochemistry analysers, Centaur XP's, Immulite XPi, SEBIA electrophoresis, BN11 Nephelometer, Tosoh G8 HPLC and a Waters Mass Spectrometer.

We are seeking applications from self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals for the post of Medical laboratory Assistant in the Specimen Reception section of the Biochemistry department.
