Full Job Description
Were growing our Medical Leadership Team, beyond what has ever been in place previously to ensure we continue to deliver great quality patient care. Were looking for a Salaried GP to undertake the medical leadership role within our Specialist Services division., The Medical Lead position is a permanent post, 4.17 hours per week / 1 session every week of protected non patient activity time. Please note, this post will be in addition to contracted Salaried GP hours within specialist services., In association with the Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, Head of Nursing, Head of Specialist Services and Clinical Services Manager, you may be required to participate in any activity deemed to be appropriate for wider working and will be required to attend relevant wider strategic and clinical meetings to support and enhance services within the pan localities and organisationally. Provide clinical leadership, vision, and strategic direction to a designated group of medical and non-medical clinical staff across the services, including Clinical Service Management colleagues. In collaboration with the Clinical Services Manager, medical and clinical leadership and support will be provided to the clinical workforce. Be responsible for promoting excellence in all areas of practice to deliver a high-quality patient-led service which is dynamic, proactive, and responsive to health needs. Paid indemnity cover. - 2 sessions per year for appraisal and pre-appraisal preparation.
