Full Job Description

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the Practice team may include any or all of the items in the following list. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Senior Administrator and or the Practice Manager. Opening up/locking up of practice premises and maintaining security in accordance with practice protocols. The post holder will be the first point of contact between the patients and the clinical teams. The post holder will deal with Digital requests. The post holder will maintain an accurate filing system. The post holder will provide repeat prescriptions on request The post holder will maintain working knowledge of the Vision appointment system The post holder will deal with any telephone enquiries in a respectful and friendly manner, ensuring correct details are recorded and forwarded to relevant personnel. The post holder will need to deal with queries from doctors and patients on a daily basis. The
post holder will assist with scanning and filing of correspondence into patients medical records using Docman Take accurate messages and pass on information appropriately To be a flexible member of the team, providing cover for colleagues for annual leave and sickness as well as in busy times. CONFIDENTIALITY In the course of seeking treatment, patients entrust us with, or allow us to gather, sensitive information in relation to their health and other matters. PERSONAL/PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT The post holder will participate in any training programme implemented by the Practice as part of this employment, such training to include: Undertaking courses as directed by the Practice Manager where
