Full Job Description
Due to the expansion of our reception and administration team. We are looking for a receptionist/administrator to join our well-established practice in Camberley. The role will require you to contribute to the smooth running of a busy patient-facing and back-office operation where you will be provided with an interesting, variety of work., The role is primarily reception based but with some administration duties involved. The individual will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administration duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to processing new patient registrations, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liasing with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
Previous experience working as part of a team, with members of the public and to be able to work at pace under pressure is essential for this role. Full training will be provided.
Camberley Health Centre offers general medical services to the population of Camberley, Surrey and the surrounding area. We are a friendly practice, serving a diverse community of approximately 9k patient list. With a multi-disciplinary team comprising of GP's, Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Healthcare assistants, Pharmacists and Pharmacy technician.
- Monday 07:15am to 13:30pm
- Tuesday 13:30pm to 18:30pm
- Additional hours will be a day of choice to complete administration duties An additional evening (3 in 5 week pattern) 18:30pm to 20:00pm. This would be paid at an overtime rate of £12.42 per hour. There will also be a requirement of Saturday working on a rota basis, this will be paid at an enhanced rate (we are open 1 in 7 Saturdays).
