Medical Receptionist - Part-Time

Albion Medical Practice is a busy, well organised and supportive Practice based in Ashton-under-Lyne. We have 9900 patients and are looking for part-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, highly motivated Practice Team.

Hours of work will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 1- 6 PM, Thursday and Friday 1-6.30 PM. Successful applicant must be flexible to cover sickness/holidays as and when required.

Main duties of the job

Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone

Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way

Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team

Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies

You will be working with a friendly, approachable and supportive team of 5 Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 2 ANPs, Nursing Associate, Pharmacist, HCAs, administration and Reception team.
