Full Job Description

The Primary and Community Mental Health Team are part of an exciting transformation to improve patient care, experience and outcomes across traditional primary and secondary care services. This role is part of the Medical Support Offer to primary care.

The role will be based in the Medical Support Team, working with Consultant Psychiatrists, Speciality Grade Doctors, GPs with Extended Roles and Mental Health Pharmacists.

This role is attached to 3 Psychiatrists and GPs with Extended roles and GP trainees. The role is part of a wider clinical administration team. The role is office based and will operate on SystmOne., You will develop and maintain effective working relationships across the Medical Support and Primary and Community Mental Health Teams. The post-holder will be the initial point of contact for users of the Service, providing a professional approach when dealing with enquiries and to direct enquiries appropriately. To ensure management of, and assist in the organisation of office administration and to act as the first point of contact for all forms of communication for the team. To organise clinics and type up medical notes for the Doctors. The post holder will work on SystmOne (Primary Care) and upload notes for patients to support prescribing on Insight (SHSC). Eventually the whole role will work on SystmOne.
