Vacancy for a Medical SecretaryBand 4, 18.5 hours per weekBase: Walsall Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service/Black Country Trust sitesWe have a new opportunity for a Band 4 Medical Secretary within the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Crisis team

We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Medical Secretary with proven skills to complement our existing administrativeteam. As part of this very busy team you will need to provide an efficient, effective, professional and confidential administrative service to theConsultants Psychiatrist and the team.

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health, learning disability and community healthcare services for thepopulation of the Black Country.CAMHS professionals deal with a wide range of mental health problems. Many children and young people are troubled by emotional, behaviouraland psychiatric problems. These can cause worry and distress both to themselves and to those who care for them. A large part of the CAMHSprofessionals' work is to identify the problem, understand the causes and advise about what may help.Our CAMHS Service is a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, specialist nurses, systemic, child and art psychotherapists, occupationaltherapists, social workers and psychiatrists, who are passionate in their aim to work with children, young people and their families in developingcreative solutions to improve their mental health difficulties. The BCHFT CAMHS Service currently operates across 4 geographical areas(Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Dudley
and Walsall) with contracts in each area. Each of the teams have a specialist learning disability teamdedicated to children and young people with a moderate to severe learning disability and specialist Children and Young People in Care Teams.
