To type medical correspondence.
This is a part time post for 15 hours per week working Thursday and Friday. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly and do extra hours when other team members are on annual leave.
Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly-motivated medical secretary to join our busy Outpatient Department Team at Victoria Hospital, Wimborne.
You will have excellent communication, I.T. and organisational skills, and previous experience within a medical environment would be desirable. Your work will involve producing medical correspondence for a wide range of medical specialties, and liaising closely with medical and non-medical staff.
You will be able to work confidently and independently without immediate supervision to ensure that all duties are carried out to a high standard.
