We would like to welcome a new member of team into our established admin team within Dermatology.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of support medical secretaries and admin staff providing secretarial and administrative support to consultants and any other staff. You will ensure the efficient channelling of communication between medical staff, GPs, patients, relatives, members of the public and other disciplines within the Trust.

You will be required to submit evidence of your qualifications for this position. If your qualifications were obtained overseas, please ensure that you acquire a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC to facilitate a clear understanding of how your qualifications align with UK standards.For further information and to apply, please followhttps://www.enic.org.uk/Qualifications/SOC/Default.aspx., We're seeking a dedicated individual to take on the exciting role of a medical secretary in Dermatology. In this pivotal position, you'll provide invaluable secretarial and administrative support to our Consultants, medical staff, and team members, ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

You will be the main communication link between patients, administrative staff and the Trust. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring timely patient treatment within national waiting time guidelines. Your duties will involve offering a personal point of contact for patients throughout their Dermatology journey, coordinating various hospital visits, and ensuring the efficient functioning of consultant clinics. Leading by example, you'll oversee administrative staff, maintaining a seamless workflow and providing exceptional patient care.

You'll exhibit a proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and autonomy in your work. Exceptional organisational skills are a must, coupled with flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
