Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an Admin Team Leader, Child Death Administrator and Medical Secretary within Paediatrics at Darlington Memorial Hospital. Operating in a team the post holder will be responsible for the supervision and co-ordination of the admin teams on a day to day basis. You will provide clerical support to the designated doctor and rapid response team for child death, as well as Consultants and Out Patient Clinical Staff. You will be familiar with microsoft packages. A flexible, pro-active team player is required., Provides clerical support to designated doctor for child deaths and rapid response service, admin teams, Admin Manager and Service Manager

Liaises with other departments

Supervision and ine management of admin teams on a daily basis

Deals with queries from patients, visitors and staff

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
