Full Job Description

You will work with the Associate Director of Strategic Medical Workforce, to ensure the provision of a specialist Medical HR Service to the NCA. Provide support to the Associate Director of Strategic Medical Workforce in the delivery of Trust priorities, in particular, managing the Medical Workforce Cost Improvement Plan workstreams across the NCA. Be the central access point for expert medical HR support and advice, to enable the delivery of Trust priorities and support the services with expert decision making advice and information. You will constructively challenge, with a view to improving, all aspects of medical workforce performance across the Trust. Key Role and Responsibilities:

    We are looking for Medical Workforce Business Partner who is CIPD qualified and educated to degree level with significant experience in senior roles within medical HR.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Experience and experience of managing complex projects is desirable. You will have an in depth knowledge of Medical Terms and Conditions of Service, experience of negotiating and consulting with Trade Unions and have the ability to diagnose, develop and deliver effective medical HR interventions in a variety of situations. Experience and understanding of dealing with performance management issue and the ability to work autonomously to deal with and solve medical HR operational issues and give advice are essential. To be successful in the role, you need to be able to work on numerous projects simultaneously to meet agreed deadlines, establish credibility, be confident, work collaboratively, have strong influencing and negotiating skills and be able to liaise effectively with senior clinical staff.
